Sometimes it’s not about redesigning a logo. It’s about giving it meaning. When the “logo project” started, it also gave us an opportunity to look at how the entire visual language was supporting the CreativeLive vision and business goals. And through this, we came up with a key insight- that though many people describe themselves as “not creative” (i.e. not an artist), it was that very notion that was holding them back from taking the next step to their creative dreams. Defining ourselves as an artist or not gets in the way of the shear fact we are all born with a creative spirit that is waiting to manifest itself in ways just as unique as the individual themself. And all we needed to do was create a window into that life - and celebrate its diversity along the way.
It was the uncovering this insight that led us to the notion of “if you’re human, you’re a creator”.
